All about air chillers - Air Cooled Chillers
By definition, chillers are devices that remove heat from a substance or the environment. There are mainly two types of chillers—the air cooled chillers and the water cooled chillers. Both are used in the manufacturing processes. For some manufacturing processes, the water cooled chillers may be a suitable option while for others the air cooled chillers would be beneficial. Moreover, you may also select the custom build chillers that can be configured according to space you have and elements you want.
The decision of buying the air chillers or the water cooled chillers purely depends on the processes. You have to take the cost of the operation and the cost of maintenance of the chillers before taking on the decision on the chillers. Depending on the power or the cooling capacity, the chiller sizes can vary from being portable to bulky. If you have sufficient space in the industrial unit, you can go for the larger versions of the chillers.
If space is at a premium, you will have to take a conscious decision to buy or rent portable chillers. If you are buying portable chillers, you may have to decide on the number of the portable chillers. When you are buying the air cooled chillers or the water cooled chillers, you will have to check out the operating voltages as well.
When buying the air cooled chillers, you will have to check for the necessary certifications and safety measures. There are some cheap chillers in the market that don’t have the necessary certifications. Such chillers can put life and property at risk.
